Monster Headphones Causing Problems With iDevices?

No comments:

Apple is reportedly investigating issues with Monster headphones that can cause your iDevice to pause and play erratically, according to screenshots obtained by MacRumors.

Several Monster headphone models using Apple's Remote and Mic technology do not meet Apple's technical specifications. These headphones use conductive flanges, which can result in electrical shorts that cause an iPod or iPhone to pause and play erratically. Customers may not be aware that the issue is caused by the headphones and may believe that the iPod or iPhone is defective instead. There are no known safety concerns and no known risk of damage to the iPod/iPhone or headphones.

Apple has a list of around two dozen models affected by the issue.

Apple Forces HyperMac to Rebrand as HyperJuice

No comments:

Apple has forced HyperMac, a company that offers external batteries for Apple products, to change its name.

"In the coming weeks, the 'HyperMac' brand name will be renamed to 'HyperJuice' as part of our ongoing comprehensive licensing negotiations with Apple regarding a wide array of technologies and issues," Daniel Chin, president of Sanho Corporation, said in a press release.

Last month the company also announced that it would discontinue sale of its MacBook charging cables and car charger due to a patent-infringement lawsuit Apple filed over Sanho's unlicensed use of Apple's MagSafe power connector.

Today is the last day to purchase those items from HyperMac so if you were thinking about making a purchase you should do it soon!
