Dragon Stop Motion 2.3 Released

DZED Systems has announced the release and immediate availability of Dragon Stop Motion 2.3, an update to their popular stop motion animation software for Mac OS X and Windows. The software interface has been translated to Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese (Brazilian), Japanese, Chinese and Korean. This includes rollover tips that provide extra information about different functions.

Embraced by top studios, working professionals and independent filmmakers alike, Dragon Stop Motion excels in creating stop motion animation, digital effects and motion graphics. It offers a comprehensive set of animation and cinematography tools, and offers hardware integrations for advanced 3D stereoscopic capture and lighting automation.

The version 2.3 update includes a variety of new features that expand on the application's support for monitoring, exporting, composing, animating, automating lighting, and automating 3D shooting.

Feature Highlights:
* Multiple language interface.
* Audio mark in, out and crop for quick editing.
* Multiple hot key alternates per function.
* DMX channel groups and soloing.
* Export X-Sheet data to csv.

Version 2.3 expands support for the company's hardware solutions: the IOTA 3D Stereoscopic Slider/IOTA Controller and the DDMX-S2 Digital I/O Controller. Jogging controls for the IOTA Slider make it easier to adjust the slider's position. New DMX channel groups make it easier to edit multiple channels at once, while DMX soloing allows the user to play back one or more DMX channels independently.

"We are excited to work with major studios to improve our DMX and 3D stereoscopic interfaces," said Dyami Caliri, President of DZED Systems.

Pricing and Availability:
Dragon Stop Motion 2.3 is priced at $275.00 (USD) for a single-user license, or $225 (USD) per license in quantities of five or more. A trial license is available and valid for 30 days and limited to 50 frames per take. Version 2.3 is a recommended upgrade for all customers.
