AT&T Substantially Improves 3G Network in New York With 850 MHz Band

AT&T says it has substantially strengthened its 3G network in New York City by deploying spectrum in the 850 MHz band.

Seth and an AT&T network engineer overview the substantial strengthening of AT&Ts 3G mobile broadband wireless network in large portions of metro New York City, Long Island and New Jersey, where it has deployed spectrum in the 850 MHz band. As a result, customers in these areas should experience better connectivity, performance and enhanced in-building wireless coverage.
